KAWS reimagined — Inspired by “KAWS:HOLIDAY” INDONESIA

The globetrotting journey of “KAWS:HOLIDAY” takes its next grand step, making an indelible mark in the historic city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. 
 

This global exhibition, organized by AllRightsReserved, has been making waves since its inception in 2018, captivating audiences from Seoul to Bristol, and even reaching the stratosphere.

Marking the tenth iteration of this tour, this tour sees the reintroduction of “ACCOMPLICE,” a work from KAWS that first made its appearance as a vinyl figure in 2002. The Prambanan temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 9th century, will host a KAWS artwork for the first time, setting the stage for a monumental encounter between the ancient and the modern.

The temple complex, known for its towering, pointed architecture and intricate stone relief sculptures, is about to witness the largest sculpture ever created by the artist — a 45-meter-long behemoth set against the backdrop of the central temple's 47-meter pinnacle.

Fans worldwide are invited to partake in this journey, immersing themselves in the vibrant city of Yogyakarta, known as the cradle of Javanese civilization, where KAWS himself will grace the opening ceremony on August 18, marking his inaugural visit to Indonesia.

As part of the grand celebration marking the 10th iteration of "KAWS:HOLIDAY" in Indonesia, KAWS and AllRightsReserved are curating an exclusive line of collectibles. This unique collection, a tribute to the event, includes the highly sought-after "ACCOMPLICE" figures. Crafted in 11.5-inch vinyl, these collectibles are available in classic black and a special edition pink.

This exclusive collection will be available for purchase at the DDT Store, starting 10am WIB / 11am HKT on August 18. The collectibles will be shipped in September 2023.
